You Don’t Have to Do It All Today

Sometimes we wake up already thinking about everything that needs to get done.

The laundry. The appointments. The meals. The work. The kids. The messages we need to answer. The things we didn't finish yesterday.

Before you know it, your mind is already racing—and the day hasn't even really begun.

But here's your reminder today:

You don't have to do it all today.

It's okay to slow down. It's okay to choose what's most important and leave the rest for another day. It's okay if your house isn't perfectly clean, your list isn't completely checked off, or you didn't accomplish everything you hoped you would.

Your worth isn't measured by how much you accomplish.

Take a breath.

Look at what's in front of you and ask yourself, What truly needs my attention today?

Then give yourself permission to let the rest wait.

Maybe today is a day to accomplish something big.

Maybe today is a day to simply get through what needs to be done.

And maybe today is a day to pause, drink your coffee, spend a few quiet minutes with God, and remind yourself that you are doing enough.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Pause & Reflect

What is one thing you can let go of today so you can make a little more room for peace?

A little reminder to carry with you:
I don't have to do everything today. I can slow down, breathe, and trust God with what remains.
